Storm Crashers

The film and game rights to "Storm Crashers" have been acquired by 20th Century Fox. The film version is targeted to be titled "Riders on the Storm."

The novel's story:
Alexandra Larriott, a young widowed mother, flees to her “safe room” during a hurricane when she sees dark figures with gleaming eyes enter her home. The “Storm Crashers” are high-tech burglars who target areas evacuated for storms. The perfect crime: no alarms, no police and no residents -until the thieves cross the young mother who fights back.

When Alexandra accidentally kills one of the Crashers, a female detective and an insurance investigator are scolded for believing her story of "mystery soldiers.” And the surviving thieves want to silence the young woman who has seen them.

The cop and investigator unravel a mystery with action, thrills and twists that implicate the FBI, Special Forces, and could inevitably impact our country’s national security.
